Brrr, it’s still way too cold here! Ever since coming back from warm India to wearing thick winter coats and boots again, one of us is sick with the cold or flu. Miss T had it in the last week and then it was my turn over the weekend to lie in bed with a fever and cold. I felt so bad I didn’t want to think or do anything. Boy, was I knocked out. Well I tried to drink litres and litres of tea until I just couldn’t see anymore tea. I was finally feeling a little better today and felt like having a vitamin-packed smoothie to give me a little health kick. This smoothie recipe did just that and tasted great! Very refreshing and packed with good nutrients. Adding some matcha gives you that nice “hello wake-up” kick.

Green matcha powersmoothie
Ingredients
- 1 kiwi
- handful of baby spinach
- 1/4 cucumber
- 1/2 tsp matcha
- 300 ml coconut water
- 1 sliced frozen banana
- 1 cm -long piece of ginger
Instructions

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
