Snicker cups

Who doesn’t know the popular Snickers bar with chocolate, peanuts and caramel?! I love the combination of chocolate and peanuts but in a much healthier form than in a Snickers bar. So I really got inspired to create a healthy recipe for a Snickers bar.
You don’t need many ingredients and it’s really quite simple to make. The recipe is all vegan and without refined sugar. Raw cacoa is the most natural form of cocoa and is not roasted like regular cacoa powder. It contains a lot more of nutrients, antioxidants and magnesium.
Made with love just for you. 🙂

  • 200 grams dried dates
  • 100 ml water
  • 1/2 tsp ground vanilla
  • 250 ml melted coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 7 tbsp raw cacoa
  • 50 grams roasted and salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Soak dates for some hours in water to soften. Drain and mix in a food processor along with 100 ml of water and ground vanilla until smooth. Stir in peanuts.
  2. For the chocolate mix coconut oil with raw cacoa and maple syrup. Fill one tablespoon of chocolate in each of your forms. You can use small muffin forms or praline moulds as well. Freeze until firm. Put a spoonful of date caramel on top and fill up with chocolate until covered. Freeze until firm.
