Quick pasta arrabbiata with mushrooms

by Kam

If on some days lunch or dinner needs to be a quick affair then pasta is the way to go. An easy and quick meal which is really filling and satisfying. If my daughter had her way I would make pasta almost every day. She doesn`t like sauce with it though. What can I tell you. Kids! 🙂 Her only exception is the sauce from this recipe. Just be careful with adding chilli if kids are at the table. Nobody wants a screaming and choking child. 🙂
This recipe is easy and simple to make. Instead of brown rice pasta use any other pasta as per your choice. If you like it really spicy just add more chilli to the sauce.

  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • grated peel of 1 lemon
  • salt and pepper
